Dear International customers, you are probably looking at this page wondering why all my deposit listings in my Etsy store are set up for shipping within the USA only. It is not because I want to make your life extra difficult, it's simply because I want you guys to read this page first before placing an order with me.
While I have had many pleasant experiences with my international clients, international shipping can be a beast and unexpected customs fees like to strike my unsuspecting customers every now and then. Therefore I believe you should know what you are getting into before placing an international order with me.
Please be aware that import duties or taxes can occur on all international orders as they pass though the border. If your package ends up arriving with a charge on it, it's most likely that your customs decided to impose such a fee on you. Unfortunately it's not something I can estimate for you and it can not be covered by the shipping fee you paid in advance. Please check with your country's customs office if you would like to determine the cost (if any).
Below are the shipping fees I have to charge for international orders:
Express Mail International
1 week: (Canada and EVERYWHERE ELSE)
$35 and up for the smaller cake toppers. (Munchkin and Cartoony)
$45 and up for the taller cake toppers. (Elegant)
Priority Mail International
2~3 weeks: (Canada only)
$25 and up for the smaller cake toppers. (Munchkin and Cartoony)
$30 and up for the taller cake toppers. (Elegant)
*Your actual shipping cost depends on the size and weight of your cake topper; an official quote will be given to you during the design stage.*
If after reading all the information above you would still like to place an international order with me, please send me an Etsy conversation letting me know the following information:
- When you need the cake topper
- Which country it needs to be shipped to
- Which style of my cake topper you like to place the deposit for.
If I can fit you on my schedule, I will set up a special deposit listing for you under your Etsy name. The rest of the custom order process will be the same as my USA orders.
