May was definitely a popular month for weddings, so is June. And July. Um...would it surprise you if I told you that August so far is winning by sheer numbers?
For those of you who check my website every now and then, I really do apologize for the severe lack of updates lately. I am painfully aware that my portfolio section, for example, is wayyyy overdue for an update. But it's hard to make time for the website while my backlog continues to grow.
Can you believe I am booked solid for the next three months? I still have a hard time believing it sometimes. I do have to admit that the experience is both wonderful and traumatic at the same time. It is wonderful because I get a nice fuzzy feeling from all the people who are excited about getting a custom cake topper from me; it's traumatic because I'm starting to realize that I really don't work nearly as fast as I think I can.
But hey, good work takes time! And I know down the road months from now, I will have a great time looking back at all the cake toppers being produced now. Just don't be surprised if you guys don't hear from me for another two months!
