Hello Early Birds

 

January has turned out to be a busy month, mainly because December brought in the most custom orders my workshop has ever seen. I was half expecting it of course, since I have been telling everyone for three months that my price was going up at the end of the year. But still, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of people who were able to take advantage of the old pricing right up to the end.

This of course means many people placed their orders and deposits months before they needed their custom cake topper. For once I'm able to see quite far down my calendar, knowing what to know expect for the months ahead. This is great because I like to spend as much time with each custom order as I can, but I am not always able to do that with orders that come in just a few weeks before the deadline.

So, to keep encouraging everyone to place their orders early, the Early Bird Discount has gone into effect along with the new pricing. Hopefully this means I will get most of the orders early and not have to turn anyone away or get overwhelmed in the busy summer like I do every year!
